The vacuum in the 3D Ultimate-Pro’s handpiece pulls the targeted pocket of fat into the head, where the inner plates rapidly cool the area to the selected temperature. Fat cells are more vulnerable to the cold than the surrounding tissue, and when exposed to a precise temperature they are crystallise and destroyed. 20-40% of the fat cells in the treated area are affected, dissolving over several months through the body’s normal metabolic process.
The skin of the targeted area/s will initially feel cold when treatment begins, but there’s no pain or discomfort associated with fat freezing treatment.
Fat freezing is a one-off treatment, taking around an hour, though some clients return for a top-up treatment to maximise results.
Once the fat cells have been frozen, crystalised and eliminated, you will notice a visible reduction in the treated area’s levels of fat.
